After hours of R&D time, we are pleased to announce that our Corramet sheeting range is now released and available for despatch. This new specially created sheet is a game-changer for the corrugated roofing market with its unique mix of qualities making it unlike anything else offered!

For a long time now, the corrugated market has been constrained by limitations in coloured sheet offerings. Bitumen Corrugated Roof Sheets, like the Corrapol-BT or Awnapol ranges, are a great budget option for clients, however, are not a long-term option. On the other, hand all types of corrugated metal sheets have big disadvantages in ease of installation. Ease of cutting and expensive long delivery lead times. Neither are perfect options if you are looking for an easy-to-install corrugated sheet that’s durable and available rapidly. The release of Corramet Corrugated sheets offers the best of both worlds!

Corramet Corrugated sheets are a very versatile roofing material that is ideal for a wide range of applications including, for example:
    • Garage roofs
    • Summerhouse
    • Shed roofs
    • Barns
    • BBQ Shelters
    • Walkway covers
    • Bike Shelter
    • Porch canopies
    • Stable Roofs

In this article, we will explain the many advantages of Corramet corrugated roofing sheets and why they are ideal for a range of projects, at home and commercially.

    Longer Lengths
A common disadvantage of corrugated sheets is that they are either available only on short lengths, of up to 2 metres, or are available in longer lengths but on an expensive delivery cost and long lead time. Corramet® offers an alternative; long lengths delivered rapidly direct to site, without specialised transport. If a 4m or 3m corrugated plastic roofing sheet is required on a roofing project then Corramet is agreat option to consider. We will manufacture Corramet corrugated sheets in a wide range of lengths from 1metres right up to 4 metres to give maximum flexibility.

What’s more, all lengths of Corramet corrugated sheets are delivered on our usual fast lead of only 1-3 working days!

    Good Spanning & Rigidity
One benefit of the specially designed Corramet material is that it has good rigidity and durability on all sizes. In turn, this extra rigidity means excellent spanning capabilities and less purlins required to support.

    Easy to Install
We have designed the Corramet range with the installer in mind at every step so they are easy to install on several levels. Firstly, the wide range of length options means that is no need to overlap sheet lengthways unless a roof is over 4 metres long which saves time and hassle for installers. Another big advantage is that Corramet sheeting is compatible with all our patented flashings and accessories, such as the Rock N Lock Gable Flashings. Corrapol Top Wall Flashing and Corrapol-BT Super Ridge, which makes installation a lot easier! DIYers only need a little experience to install this sheeting range!

    Corrugated Roof Fixings Included
One of the most common questions we get asked is ‘How many fixings do I require per corrugated sheet?’. To eliminate this completely all Corramet roofing sheet kits bought will be supplied with fixings included! There will be a standard number of colour-matched fixings supplied per sheet saving the installer having to calculate how many are required. If the project is in a windy or exposed area then additional fixings can be purchased as required.

    Manufactured in High Profile
To ensure homeowners can build hybrid roofs our Corramet Corrugated sheets are manufacture in our signature High Profile meaning they can combine them with our Corrapol Stormproof sheeting to create a part solid par clear roof. This is a popular option on stables or sheds roofs where a rooflight is wanted. Our budget PVC corrugated sheets and GRP corrugated sheets also share the high profile giving a range a of options at different price points and quality.

    Long Life Span
When installers are looking for a mix of a high-quality finish and durability the Corramet sheets are the answer. Manufactured from a durable waterproof plastic compound resin, Corramet has an estimated lifespan of 20 years! When installed along the correct flashings a Corramet roof can last many years, giving peace of mind that it won’t need replaced for a while! Another reason they are an excellent corrugated choice if a dry outdoor area is being created like a gazebo or shelter.
